The Original 60G Coatings Liner was designed around the needs of painters, epoxy applicators, and coatings contractors. These materials are fluid, relatively lightweight, and don't put extreme mechanical stress on the liner.
Why it works for coatings:
- Smooth interior for clean pours and easy residual scraping
- Flexible enough to conform tightly to bucket walls
- Holds up against solvents and chemical-based coatings
- Peel and toss — no soaking, no scraping the bucket

The 80G Masonry Liner — Built for Cement-Based Mixes
Best for: Concrete · Mortar · Thinset · Grout · Other cement-based applications
Cement-based materials are a different animal. They're heavy, abrasive, and they harden — fast. A lighter liner under that kind of stress can stretch, thin out, or fail at the worst moment.
Why it works for masonry:
- Heavier 80g construction handles the weight and abrasion of cement-based mixes
- Resists mechanical stress from mixing paddles and drill mixing
- Prevents hardened material from bonding to the bucket interior
- Peel and toss — even after concrete or mortar sets up inside

Can You Use One for Both Jobs?
Technically yes — but you shouldn't. Using the 60G for heavy masonry risks liner stress and potential failure mid-mix. Using the 80G for coatings works fine but is overkill.
The right call: keep both on the truck. Most professional crews working mixed trades do exactly that.

Why This Actually Matters Beyond Cleanup
Here's the part most people don't think about.
Every time you mix without a liner and ruin a bucket, you're throwing away an entire bucket — hundreds of grams of plastic — just to avoid a liner that uses a fraction of that. A liner uses roughly 10–17% as much plastic as a bucket. That's about 85–90% less plastic per mix.
