Why Choose Our Custom Pro Blend™ Bucket Liners(Not the Cheap Amazon Liners)

✓ Custom-molded for U.S. buckets: Built for Home Depot® and Lowe’s® 5-gallon buckets — fits tight, no bubbles or floating, with a clean pull every time. Generic import sizes often misfit U.S. bucket rims.

✓ Pro-grade material, not commodity plastic: Made from our proprietary Custom Pro Blend™ polymer composite, engineered exclusively for epoxy, resin, paint, and coating professionals who need reliability, not guesswork.

✓ Twice the strength: Designed to outperform thin import liners with up to 2× the tear and tensile durability, so they won’t rip, shred, or collapse under heavy mixing.

✓ Heat + chemical ready: Handles -20 °C to 100 °C, resists acids, alkalis, and solvents — stays flexible and strong even in harsh conditions.

✓ Built for real job sites: Trusted by pros who work with epoxy, resin, thinset, grout, and industrial coatings — consistent fit, clean mix, fast disposal.

✓ Cleaner jobs, lower costs: Prevents cross-contamination, keeps buckets in rotation, and cuts total bucket spend by up to 40 %.

Bottom line: When strength, solvent safety, and speed matter — 5GBL Pro delivers.

If you just need the cheapest light-duty bag, those are the Amazon liners.

Frequently Asked Questions

How Are Our Bucket Liners Different from Others in the Market?

Not all disposable 5-gallon bucket liners are built the same. Most generic liners sold online are thin bag-style inserts that are not molded to U.S. bucket geometry, which causes poor fit, folding at the base, paddle wrap, and tearing during drill mixing.

5GBL Pro disposable 5-gallon bucket liners are custom-molded for U.S. 5-gallon buckets (Home Depot® / Lowe’s® sizing), allowing them to sit securely from rim to base. This precision fit helps prevent sliding, floating, and material trapping — resulting in cleaner, more consistent mixing.

Unlike thin 15-mil LDPE bag liners, our liners are made from our proprietary Custom Pro Blend™ polymer composite, engineered for tear strength, chemical resistance, heat tolerance, and drill-friendly performance.

Drill Mixer Recommendations

Our 5-gallon bucket liners are designed for drill mixing to ensure proper material blending.

However, some mixing paddles, especially sharp metal ones, can damage the liners.

Tips:

  • Avoid metal mixing paddles.
  • Remove any dried resins from previous use to prevent sharp points.
  • Use your drill on a low-speed setting.

We recommend using our 5GBL-Approved Mixer Paddle, specifically designed to protect and work seamlessly with our liners.

  • Use the 5GBL Mixer Paddle – the only paddle we recommend for liner-safe mixing.
  • Operate your drill on a low-speed setting to prevent splashing or unnecessary friction.
  • Clean your paddle after each use to avoid hardened resins or coatings that could scratch the liner.

Can These Liners Be Used for Mortar, Thinset, or Other Heavy Materials?

Yes — with proper use and limitations.

Our disposable 5-gallon bucket liners are primarily engineered for resin, epoxy, paint, coatings, and chemical applications.

Heavier materials such as thinset, grout, mortar, and adhesives are suitable for smaller batches only, and must be used with 5GBL-approved or liner-safe mixer paddles.

Because these materials place significantly higher stress on liners, large industrial mixers, sharp metal paddles, and full-batch mortar mixing are not recommended. Improper tools or oversized batches can cause excessive friction, folding, or liner damage.

When used correctly — small batches, approved mixers, and controlled drill speeds — the liners perform reliably while keeping buckets clean and reducing cross-contamination.
